So, in addition to the efforts undertaken in its Sustainable Packaging Consultancies to help brands reach their sustainability goals within their packaging use, Botta Packaging has decided to partner with a global institution to be able to calculate the amount of Carbon emissions each customer’s packaging releases in a year, and to translate that into a compensation certified programme.
Botta Packaging’s Carbon Compensation As A Service for Packaging gives Companies the possibility to take action in the remaining unavoidable emissions to produce sustainable packaging, by carbon offsetting and compensating the emissions by contributing to a certified project of their choice.
Furthermore, Companies can have their Climate Neutral Packaging efforts printed on the packaging, including a QR code, which takes the consumers directly to all the information related to the certified project the company is contributing to. This way, the commitment can be easily communicated to customers worldwide.
