For BOTTA EcoPackaging, the Premio Impresa e Valore 2026 recognises a journey developed over the years: making sustainability part of everyday business decisions, investing in people and skills, and using innovation to rethink the role of packaging.<\/p>\n

Sustainable Packaging and Innovation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sustainability has been a core part of BOTTA EcoPackaging’s development for years. Through our EcoPackaging division, we develop packaging solutions using recycled and FSC-certified materials, plastic-free alternatives and other options designed to reduce environmental impact while meeting customer requirements.<\/p>\n

Our work also includes supporting companies as the regulatory framework evolves, particularly in relation to the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)<\/a>.<\/strong> We combine packaging expertise with a practical approach to materials, design and compliance, helping customers identify solutions suited to their products and supply chains.<\/p>\n

Innovation is an integral part of this approach. With iQRcode\u2122,<\/strong><\/a> BOTTA has developed a digital solution supporting the evolution towards the Digital Product Passport and greater product transparency.<\/p>\n

In 2023, we launched PACK HERO<\/strong><\/a>: The Eco Adventure, an educational video game focused on sustainable packaging and the circular economy. The project has been introduced in educational contexts and received coverage in Italian and international media.<\/p>\n

Together, these initiatives reflect BOTTA’s approach to packaging innovation: combining materials, design, digital tools and knowledge to respond to the changing needs of the industry.<\/p>\n

Behind Every Innovation, There Are People<\/strong><\/h3>\n

People are an essential part of BOTTA’s development. More than 80% of our workforce is made up of women, and we continue to invest in professional development, international talent and relationships with schools and universities.<\/p>\n

International recruitment programmes have enabled BOTTA to welcome young professionals from different backgrounds and create opportunities for them to develop their careers within the company. At the same time, collaboration with educational institutions helps us share practical knowledge of packaging, sustainability and manufacturing with the next generation.<\/p>\n

The Premio Impresa e Valore 2026 also brought individual recognition to two members of our team.<\/p>\n

Carolina Merlo <\/strong>was awarded the Premio Impresa e Lavoro for her contribution to BOTTA’s growth and achievements over more than 20 years. Her recognition reflects two decades of experience within the company and the contribution she has made across different stages of BOTTA’s development.<\/p>\n

Ngo Ngoc Phuong Anh <\/strong>was recognised as a new generation of talent, highlighting the contribution of younger and international professionals to the future of the company. She joined BOTTA through an international talent programme and has since developed her professional career within the company, becoming part of our marketing and communications team.<\/p>\n

From 1947 to the Future<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Founded in 1947, BOTTA has its roots in Trezzano sul Naviglio, in the Milan metropolitan area. Today, the company works with customers and partners across international markets while maintaining a strong connection with its local territory.<\/p>\n

In recent years, BOTTA has strengthened its international presence through industry events including PACK EXPO East<\/a> <\/strong>in Philadelphia and PACK EXPO International in Chicago<\/a>,<\/strong> alongside European and international business networks. These experiences allow us to bring Italian packaging expertise to new markets, exchange knowledge and stay close to the evolving needs of the global packaging industry.<\/p>\n

The Premio Impresa e Valore 2026 marks an important moment in this journey. Our work continues across sustainable packaging, research and development, digital innovation and talent, with a focus on developing solutions that respond to the changing regulatory and environmental requirements of the industry.<\/p>\n
